I agree that there historically is a bias and particularly for the Chiefs and Taylor Swift, the Steelers, etc. Whether because of the crowds and passion they draw (Steelers, notably) or because they know it helps the league, or because the officials are fans of those more popular teams. 

But the officials this past Sunday make quite a few critical calls in favor the Bengals The Chiefs had two long completions -- one to Kelce -- called back. They could have let those go and probably have received no negative attention, because they were holding and hands to the face, which are often ignored anyway. But they had the guts to call those. So, overall, I felt it was a pretty even field as far as the officials.
