When you’re paying an elite QB it’s understandable that a team is going to lose some talent that they’re not able to pay, or players getting older. The Bengals don’t draft well enough to adequately replace the talent they are losing. And the FO is too rigid with their approach to the salary cap to make up for their bad drafts with free agents.
The Bengals used to have a Super Bowl caliber roster, but they haven’t been able to maintain that talent level, and unfortunately, we don’t have a coaching staff that is able to get more from lesser talent.
