To be fair, Dalton still had that same smile every time he threw an incompletion as well. God, how I don't miss that shit anymore. It's like, "What the hell is so goddamned funny?!?!"

He started to play really well the towards the end of the 22 season, too. He was probably our best player in the divisional round against Buffalo. And then this offseason he was very vocal about wanting to step up and be a leader for the young guys in the secondary. He organized a trip for that whole group iirc.
This whole situation with him right now is just really weird. Poor tackling is one thing, but I never had him struggling in coverage to the point he’s pulled out of games on my bingo card.
