Rankins is supposedly the pass rushing DT. Jackson (at 330) and Jenkins are prinarily run stoppers at this stage. Hill is more of a hybrid.
Not disagreeing Ike. They drafted Carter to be a pass rushing 3-tech like Geno, but he sucked. It is what it is.
Rankins is our only true 3-tech right now and I sure hope he starts to earn his money as he wasn't good in his snaps either.
Jenkins is a great run stopper even if he isn't big like McKinnley Jackson. I think Jenkins can do both like Hill though, hence
calling him a bit of a hybrid. Expecting McKinnley to be primarily a run stopping NT.
