Does Geno Stone think Free safety means you don’t get involved in any plays unless…

He was a practice squad/back-of the roster guy who only saw significant snaps because two of the Ravens safeties got hurt last year. If you watch his interceptions last year, a couple of them were good plays, but the majority of them were terrible throws by the QB that he was standing there for.

The folks that clearly had never watched him play several seasons saw 7 INT and assumed he was good. INTs rarely carry over and he is showing who he has shown to be for the majority of his career. Practice squad/back of the roster depth guy that can play well in a defined, niche role. Not your "best" safety.

And the people that claimed that adding Geno Stone was going to improve the run defense...People just talk out of their as* with nothing but blind optimism that is not backed in reality.

I don't really remember many claiming that Stone would help the run defense, I remember folks being excited in thinking that he'd produce several INTs. Now I do seem to remember optimism for the run defense to improve from Vonn Bell coming back to the team.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
