The starting pitchers, ddo we have a playoff staff?
#4
Reminder that Martinez has an opt-out clause and he hasn't decided whether he's going to exercise it or not.
He did say he's open to staying in Cincy, but I would assume on a better contract.

I think at this time, we should assume the worst and expect him not to be a Red.
He ended up with 10 wins and 3.10 ERA on just 42 games pitches, 16 of which were starts.

Outside of Martinez, Greene and Abbott are good. They're locks for the rotation.
You can't rely on Lodolo with all the injuries, but he played very well at times last year.
Rhett Lowder showed something to deserve to compete for the 4th or 5th spot in the rotation this coming Spring.
They also have a collection of dudes who could be that 5th starter if/when needed.
All in all, they probably need to just get one really good SP to go along with this solid group of Greene, Abbott, and probably Lowder.
Even if Martinez does stay, probably get another good SP and let Lowder compete with Lodolo for the last rotation spot.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
