Gesicki? In what way?
In games they've been without Higgins (4), Gesicki has put up 22 rec for 282 yards.
That averages to 5.5 rec and 70.5 yards per game average when Higgins has been out.
70.5 YPG would equate to nearly 1200 yards in a season.
Gesicki is plenty fine as a 2/3 option, at least production-wise.
Gesicki is already up to 353 yards on the season through 9 games.
He could be the first Bengals TE to surpass 500 yards since Eifert back in 2015.
The most yards the Bengals have had from a TE in the past 2 decades was Gresham in 2012 with 737.
Gesicki would have to produce on average 50 yards per game from here on out to surpass that, but it's achievable.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
