I was reading s post on another platform, and a guy posting said he was next-door neighbors with one of the assistant WR coaches. (Did not say who obviously) He said he asked about Burton and was told as long as they tell him to run down the sideline and catch the ball, or maybe two or three other routes, he can do that. But when it comes to understanding his assignment when Burrow calls the play in the huddle, he's basically clueless and is incapable of understanding complex offenses (Not that ours is that complex)and has to be specifically told what to do. There's no time for that in a huddle. I have no idea if that poster was legit, but it makes sense as to why he doesn't see the field.
