Whit because he had a really good really long career and then went to LA and won a SB before going into the media (being good on the media after playing career is a HoF booster).

Geno because everyone seemed to recognize how dominant he was, and there's not many guys with 8+ Pro Bowls, multiple 1st Team All-Pros, AND most importantly a HoF All-Decade Team who don't go into the Hall.

I seriously doubt Whit ever gets in. Nothing against him, but he is always going to be measured against Joe Thomas.
