You didn't even give Calias Cambell a sniff this off-season because he is "over 30 years old". Imagine that way of thinking. 

Yep. And 1st Round picks get 5 year deals. Generally, the good ones get a 2nd contract. Even non-1st Round picks are restricted, so they get 2nd contracts.

So free agency is basically signing guys to a 3rd contract, or taking a chance on guys that teams didn't deem worthy of a 2nd contract.

Hendrickson? He had 1 really good year with NO in his contract year. Teams were hesitant to pay him. Even the contract he got with us kind of had ways out in it if he didn't produce. It was kind of a prove it deal.
