I for one, have been saying the season was done after we lost to the patriots. It wasn’t because I thought we wouldn’t make the playoffs. It was because I saw we had too many flaws to win a Super Bowl.
This off season is probably the most important off season in the Joe Burrow era. We have so many holes that it is going to take some Bengal miracles to get it right. I personally have zero faith we will do that. I believe we will make some half baked moves that get us right back to where we always are, middle of the pack, wild card fringe type of team.
There are a lot of teams that have won a SB and lost a bad game. We have a superbowl caliber offense in my opinion. But the defense has been downright unbelievable.
I can't imagine having zero faith and still following the team. But then again, you are brought joy by all the negativity, so I suppose it checks out.
