I also question you saying they shut down the Chargers until the last drive. Are we saying giving up 24 points in the first half is shutting them down? Because even after they dropped 34 on us they only average 22 per game on offense. So we let them score more in the first half than they score per game on average.
There's a difference between holding onto hope and having optimism and completely ignoring and trying to change reality.
