So Washington game:

1st quarter they scored 7, we scored 7
2nd quarter they scored 14, we scored 6
3rd quarter they scored 7, we scored 7
4th quarter they scored 10, we scored 13

Sorry, I'm not seeing much "Garbage time" We got outscored in the 2nd quarter, tied their score in the 1st and 3rd, and outscored them in the 4th.

Bengals were down multiple scores in that game 28-13, and then 31-20. More accurate of a description would be that the Bengals could not stop the Commanders from scoring, even allowing the most improbable of completions to happen.
