You still need to know coverages and understand the playbook when you’re a safety as well. Seems like maybe his head isn’t in the playbook.
I don't know. He was ok last year, so I don't think it's the playbook, he's just being asked to cover better receivers now as the #1 corner. And, like the yips in golf, when things start going bad it gets in your head and things start going really bad.
