Possible Zac Taylor replacements
(3 hours ago)Nepa Wrote: Zac Taylor is not going to be replaced. Nor should he. The problem is the lousy drafting and not getting enough high-quality free agents (or keeping ones that are filling key roles, like Reader). The team has a deficit of talent.

The team made one wise decision in signing Burrow before the cap exploded, making his contract reasonable, all things considered. But they messed up the Chase signing by delaying, because now he is likely to lead the league in receiving yards.

The Bengals don't need another head coach. They need to invest in scouting for the draft and investing more in quality free agents.

Maybe Lou can be replaced. I never understood his always being in consideration for a head coaching job when his teams are mediocre-to-very-poor in defense.

I agree mostly

They need a quality OC and a quality DC and some position coaches. I'm ok with leaving ZT in place. He just needs to step back and control big picture.

And also agree the Brown family needs to change their cheap ways. Hire a real GM and scouting dept. Quit refusing to pay top dollar 2nd contracts on IOL and Dline. So on and so on.
