He came in with very limited credentials and didn't (couldn't?) surround himself with an experienced staff of assistants. He hasn't really done much about it over the years either. I'm honestly shocked that one of his coordinators was plucked for a HC gig. I'm not terribly shocked at the results of that hire. But yes... The glaring problem on this team is the defense.
