It's not defending Wilson, it is calling out the statement he is barely better than a practice squad linebacker as over the top, which is what is exactly is. His overall 2024 PFF score is 72.3 ( Logan Wilson | Cincinnati Bengals LB | NFL and PFF stats)
Things go bad and there are always the over-the-top reactions. Don't get mad when they are called out.
