Tomlin has consistently made winning teams, regardless of who was playing. Because Chase and Burrow were able to get near the top does not make Taylor any better than Tomlin. Swap Mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett or Mitchell Tribisky into a Zac Taylor team and wonder how many wins he would pull out. Strange how some fans of the Bengals cheer on a coach more than players.
It's impossible to debate against opinion; as facts are not required.
"Zac's only successful because of Ja'Marr and Joe".
What we do know is his first couple years (one w/ Burrow) were crappy as he rebuilt the team, he did not take over a successful team; as did Tomlin. Tomlin took over a team that had won the Superbowl just 2 years prior, but has only won 3 playoff games in the last 14 years.
You can assert many fans currently bytching around here would be much happier with that than our current success, but I'd go out on a limb and suggest they'd still be bytching.
IDK about those who cheer the coach more than the players; as I cheer for both to do well.
