There's a work stoppage coming in a couple of years that will probably cost a whole season...but something's gotta give. Things are out of control right now. The big markets can't keep being allowed to control the game and continually dominate free agency. They have to find a way to bring some semblance of parity and fairness to the sport.

As we all know there's like a half dozen top of the market teams that the rest just can't compete with. Some kind of parity has to be built in, or it just makes no sense.

It's just the top dogs and the rest are just extended farm teams.
