They need to go DL in the first unless Starks is there. They could use a safety and I think he’s good enough to help with coverage and the pass rush.
I am not one who thinks they need to draft a CB early. Both starting CBs are out for the year plus you would hope guys like Newton will improve with experience and CTB gets back to his level of play from last year. They have spent a ton of draft stock in the CBs so there’s talent there.
I feel that until the Bengals add a significant number of scouts and a real GM..no matter how high they draft it will not turn out that great.."they have spent a ton of draft stock stock in CBs" and none of them are that great...But the good news.... Mike Brown wants to keep this team in Cincinnati and turn over the reins to his daughter and granddaughter..with the lease negotiations due soon..or already beginning..and with Joe Burrows insights and leadership of this team...we may see some definitive changes where it really counts..I dont care who they draft or how high...when we get some more scouts to make better player evaluations..sand this off-season replace Lou and that offensive line coach....I will feel better..and it may just happen
