I reached out to a good friend of mine that recently retired a full bird Colonel from the Space Force, and he confirmed that it is our Space Force. I didn't ask for specifics as I rarely do in our military conversations, and he probably couldn't answer certain questions anyways. On this. he gave me an immediate yes.
Him and his wife were stationed at Eglin , but moved out to Colorado where the main SF base is located after he received his promotion and orders.
Somethings up though, just not sure what yet. Some kind of exercise or operation.
