Of the three, I think Shaw has the best chance to make an impact on the roster in 2025. He's a veteran player who has been slightly above average for his 14 year career. He's got a 5 pitch repertoire and sits in the 91 to 93 mph range with his cutter and sinker combination. He also throws a slider, curve ball and change up.
He spent most of the 2024 season in the minor leagues, so I don't think he's going to be an immediate threat to take a bullpen slot, but he could be a good back up arm if injuries occur.
The other two are younger wild cards. Neither has been particularly effective so far in their careers. It would be a surprise to me if either made a significant impact on the 2025 roster.
