2017 was the last time we didn't have a clear cut good #2 WR (Brandon LaFell who was a solid #2 in 2016)
2012 was the previous year before that (Marvin Jones' rookie season)
2009 where we had 1 year of Lavernus Coles after Housh left

There was a year where AJ Green missed and Boyd was pushed out of #2 into #1, but that could literally happen just the same with Chase and Higgins. We still had a #1 and #2 on our roster initially.

We've never had a hard time finding #2 WRs to pair with our #1s (and we've almost always had a #1 WR too) since the start of the Marvin era. That's legitimately one of the few things this front office IS good at. So worrying that we can't replace a #2 WR is funny. We replaced Marvin Jones with Boyd, and we replaced Boyd with Higgins. We'll replace Higgins with the next guy.

They appear to have whiffed on Burton.
