The Reds are reportedly one of 5 teams that have offered Korean infielder Hyeseong Kim (who turns 26 next month) a contract. The others are the Blue Jays, Padres, Angels and Mariners. He has until Friday to make a decision.
Have no idea how legit this is though, as the original source is a Korean sports show https://x.com/psuh89/status/1874136204624720362 ...but it does follow recent reports that they were interested in another infielder, Gleyber Torres.

The rumors about Nick Pivetta are making the rounds again, which makes me think there may be something there, and there could be a trade being worked on that involves one of the current starters? It's the only any interest in Pivetta would make sense.
