It’s got to be defense. We all love Tee, But smart team building just doesn’t dictate paying a star WR2 and a generational QB and WR1.
The generational QB and WR should have been where our priorities (and hearts) reside
Fans caught feelings for the player and don’t realize the position can be replaced. Even if it takes the 2025 draft pick a year to be Tee, Burrow and Chase can hold it down a year.
And then we’ll be worried about re-signing said player.
In the mean time we’ll win games a workmanlike 28 - 16, with our revived D.
The 48-17 may just be a year delayed. We’ll be fine.
