He’s shown flashes this year with some deep catches.
He’s been good on returns.
He really hasn’t played much to really evaluate him though.
I liked a couple videos of him picking up teammates after mistakes.
He predicted Tee would bounce back and catch the game winner.
He definitely seems to have a passion for the game.
He’s shown a lot of immaturity though.
He doesn’t seem very bright.
He needs to hit rock bottom and learn from it.
If he finds ‘the way’ he could still be great.
In the draft I liked the pick because in college he was a great route runner, played with great passion, and caught everything.
But if he can’t mature it will definitely be a waste of talent.
I think it’s early to release him.
I’d give him some more time but if he doesn’t figure it out it makes sense to cut ties.
There really isn’t much behind the top 3 receivers and now it sounds like the top two will be re-signed.
Overall I don’t think we are going to missing out on a lot by keeping him in the roster as a 4th/5th WR.
If we re-sign Tee and Chase we don’t need him though.
He could be a good backup option for both of them, but only if he gets his head in the right place.
