It makes perfect sense if he has a touch of autism, which I have said is my belief. Having a daughter on the spectrum, I can attest getting in trouble makes her sorry for the moment, and she understands the ramifications, but it goes away and she does not learn from it like everyone else and is apt to repeat the action. It's part of the spectrum. Of course, we don't know that he is autistic, I am just guessing, but not being able to manage his bills is not surprising if he is.
