They absolutely can.  The question is if they will even attempt to.  They are using the luxury they have with the locked in 1 seed to rest important players, but they also have the ability to make a vote on who has the ability to get into the post season by failing to be competitive.  Many insiders have pointed out that coaching staffs of the AFC field have stated they are concerned about facing us in the post season, and the Chiefs can literally choose play calls that can insure we can't be there.
