Bills also rested their starters, but at least they were trying againts the Pats. Reid and the Hunt family probably spent some good time on the phone discussing the possible outcomes of this game since the flight to Denver was delayed because of the storm. Also if you are Goodell you don't want the Bengals and Burrow to make it to the playoffs  to treat Mahomes and Kelce/Taylor Swift.
