The Truth We All Ignore: Mike Brown

I have thought this same thing for years, plus he has had two opportunities to gain a huge amount of new Bengals fans.  The first opportunity was when the Browns left Cleveland for Baltimore....if he would have put together a winning team, and won a SB, think of all of the Ohio fans he could have gained (selling Palmer jerseys, ticket sales, etc).  Now with Burrow, you have a lot of younger fans all over the country that like the Bengals just because of him, but he is blowing it with this mediocrity of being near .500 every year and saying that's good.  If you would be a consistent winner, all those young fans become Bengals fans for life (think of pukesburg and Dallas in the 70s) and that is more $$$ in the Brown family coffer.  Doesn't make sense.
