How much earlier in the draft order had the Bengals been if they had gone 8-9?
Earliest would have been 13th (MIA), but draft tiebreakers are different than playoff tiebreakers.
Bengals were the only 9-8 team in the league, surprisingly.
Interestingly, the Dolphins would have ended up drafting 16th had they beat the Jets but instead got 3 spots earlier.
Hopefully the Bengals don't miss out on a really good prospect that they want picking 17th instead of 13-15.
The names I'm seeing across mock drafts being projected in the teens are:
Will Campbell, OT LSU
Tyler Warren, TE Penn St
Malaki Starks, FS Georgia
Nic Scourton, DE Texas A&M
Walter Nolen, DT Ole Miss
Jalon Walker, EDGE Georgia
Ashton Jeanty, RB Boise St
James Pearce, DE Tennessee
Colston Loveland, TE Michigan

Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
Sorry for Party Rocking!
