If it works, then he was a genius, if not, then it was a bone headed move. Just like Burrow's "Superman" throw to Higgins. I see that as ill-advised and lucky not to have been picked, but it worked so instead it was just a brilliant play. Had it been picked, people would be saying, "Why would you throw that?" Same with play calling.
I have to disagree with this. I try not to complain about paycalls for the most part because there is alot of nuance that we may not be aware. My issue is more situational football like plays you decide to take the football out of Burrows hands is usually the issue. We don't want to commit to the run game for the most part and then pick some very odd times to take it out of his hands. Then even when we do, we do odd things like bring Chase into the back field and then still run up the middle, after bringing all eyes into the backfield. I don't care about mistakes by players unless it becomes a continuous issue.
The offense hasn't been our problem and I wasn't expecting them to move on or even hoping for it. I just think there are concerns with him still that may ultimately prevent us from a championship. But I am having a hard time thinking of too many situational issues we had this year so maybe it's improving or maybe the defense was so trash it's hard narrowing games down to just 1 or 2 issues.
