I hope we get vets at guard and then pick players like Jackson to compete for the starting job. I hate relying on rookies at OL and DL simply because the vets are older and normally stronger than 21- and 22-year-olds.

Jackson would be worth a 2nd-3rd round pick. He really is an All-American level Guard who transitioned seamlessly to LT when the starter and 1st backup both went down for the season. His footwork has continued to improve with every game he plays at LT, I think that he would have little problem pickup up stunts in the NFL and would be hard to beat for the starting LG job.
