Chase is not worth 5 million per year more than Jefferson. He doesnt have the bargaining power you think he does. If he gets too greedy the Bengals can pay him his 22 million in 2025 for his 5th year option, tag him for ~27 million in 2026 and tag him for ~ 32.4 million in 2027. That would be about 27 million per year average the next 3 years the Bengals could have him for with none of the money being guaranteed except for the current year he is playing in. That is a good deal for the Bengals. Im sure the Bengals dont want an unhappy WR doing this but if Chase gets too greedy with his demands, that could be the outcome.
