There's a reason that Murphy hasn't won the starting job and claimed it as his own. That reason likely is that he cannot finish a play strong. He's pretty good at defeating the initial block by the Tackle, but then he pursues and closes like his boots are full of concrete..

I think that Murphy's only chance of looking good would be to have a strong interior DL that quickly flushed the QB/ball carrier to the edge and into his waiting arms.
