Beyond on field production, he would bring instant leadership. Literally he would be the Joe burrow equivalent on the defense.
Guys like Von Miller and Travis Kelce bring way more than just production. And Wagner is still playing at a higher level than both of them.
Baun is unrealistic, but depending on what the bengals want to do, Wagner and a new DC alone would improve this unit to middle of the pack, without any other additions.
The question is, do we care about 2028, or 2025? After the season the bengals just had, it might be time to do something different.

Definitely get everything you say here Bengalbug. Would be nice if we made exceptions with certain players, some dudes just put in the
work to last younger than others, Bobby Wagner is one of them and he is a great leader as you say. Also doubt Washington lets Bobby
leave. Bobby would probably be a great get on a 1 year or 2 year deal if he does test FA though, you are correct.
Just doubt we make the exception with what we have seen recently.
