I like the player and I even like the person but Trey can’t be trusted long term. He’s either going to demand another contract in 2026 (even with an extension), retire, or start skipping offseason workouts to be with his family (which is honorable no doubt). Trey’s the type of player you have to sell high. His priorities are right don’t get me wrong, but football never struck me as one of them. I don’t necessarily get the eat, breath, live for football vibe from him.
