Better bet, as others has said, is get some people to join in and help with pressure. It wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if Trey never sees 17.5 again, if we have a few others chipping in consistently.

I can't see how there's any way in the world they don't pay Trey. If they were to trade him, cut him, he holds out or whatever and he's not a Bengal next season this team, this defense gets A LOT worse.
When you have one of the worst defenses in the NFL you can't subtract. We can't rely on the guys we currently have and the draft to fix this defense alone.
