Holy Crap. I wish I had seen this coming. Who would have guessed ? I mean I know I posted a day ago that CBS and ESPN said this was a done deal and it got moved. But of course, Sunset allows a thread that it's official. I guess CBS ad ESPN wasn't official enough. Who would have guessed ? Golden as the DC for Bengals. What earth shaking news. Thank you for this post, See, this is why you guys are top rated posters. You saw Golden as DC when nobody else did. Shades of Nostradamus.
But in the end, WELCOME GOLDEN. I hope he can fix this lousy defense, Get Burrow and Company back in Play-Offs and a run at Super Bowl.
Some upsides to Golden. He played and later coached under Joe Paterno, who was a Defensive Guru. Golden being hired as Head Coach of Miami Hurricanes is impressive. Golden has coached under Zac Taylor before in the Super Bowl year. Golden being hired as D Coordinator by Notre Dame is impressive.
