We can get 1 elite and 1 really good player at two positions of incredibly large need for us... or we can re-sign our oft-injured #2 WR and have a couple million left. That's an easy choice for the former.
Bengals can sign Tee and still get those guys(if they cut the guys thier supposed to cut) in free agency. It's not mutually exclusive. Also giving up Tee is giving up an elite player who is critical to the teams success.
