If we use the logic he is at a reach at #17, would it be fair hoping the 38th pick falls to 49 is also not likely so we miss out on him.

Actually, a lot of G's in the NFL were T's in college and can play there in a pinch.  It's a nice thing to have, but not really that uncommon.

I like Jackson as a prospect, but he's not some can't miss, franchise defining prospect that we just HAVE to have.  I mean, currently reaching 21 spots for him is a lot worse than hoping he falls 11 spots and missing out.  There will still be plenty of good prospects at 49 regardless of whether he's there or not.
