Their 1st round pick in '23, Felix Anudike-Uzumah, has started 3 games and has 2.5 sacks in his career.  And he's been active every game, so it's not an injury issue.

Rice has been a stud...but they took him because they took Skyy Moore in the 2nd the year before and he's been a complete bust.  

They definitely missed some picks but hit on more. My main point is they can let certain guys walk because they have young players playing well on rookie deals and other young guys to extend. Now compare that to the Bengals the only young guy outside of Higgins I had in mind of extending before the season was Cam Britt -Taylor and we know how his season went. The Chiefs didn’t bring Hill back but they traded him and one of the picks ended up being Trent McDuffie they got something back other than comp picks. The OP said let’s be like the Chiefs which you can’t do the way Tobin has drafted which is why we were watching the playoffs.
