Huge Draft Trades... Always Only For QBs..... Why not us, for Abdul Carter?

start to fall off. He has shown no signs of falling as a pass rusher at all. Might be the one thing I disagree with you here Higgy, need to
extend Trey, he works his ass off. I know he is not the best run stopper, but you keep our one great pass rusher.

Dax and Turner looked good to me this season, might not be as bad at Corner as we think. A healthy Logan Wilson with a new LB coach
could also make LB look better this year while adding a good one and maybe letting Pratt go.

The Defensive coaches being better is what I am hanging my hat on. Same with the new OL coach and DL coach and adding players to
both sides of the trenches. You are right, need to trade back if anything this Draft and get some more picks.

Agree with you on Trey but just playing devils advocate, as I love the guy but these are really hard decisions that teams make that are as business-like/frugile as the Bengals are. They can still come in 3rd place with Trey having a great year IF no help is there but could save lots of $$$ for other holes to fill IF they will spend to do that and not just put those $$ on the bottom line.

Now, IF, he was a TJ Watt that lines up all over the field and a player that teams have to scheme for 3 downs then no doubt BUT Trey, as great as he is, is rather one-dimensional and I guess the real question is does anybody really think Cinci. is going to help Trey out by lining somebody opposite of him?

You're correct that the elephant in the room is the new DC and defensive coaches and putting these guys in better spots to succeed and simplifying the scheme, if needed, which is exactly what Golden is known for. Get those LB's playing the way they did in the SB season.
