Slayton would be the highest paid receiver in the NFL to never have 1,000 yards in a season. PS, he has never had 800. This is the type of contract where you pay above market for middling production. You don’t replace one good/near elite player with two average.
Slayton is Zack Moss.
Slayton ranked 91/98 as far as PFF grade in 2024, for whatever that’s worth. He is more like a WR4, rather than a WR2
