Yuuuup. It's not any form of sacrifice or compromise at all. It's not like he's taking a paycut or anything, so it's not news.
The Bengals were already going to be cheap when it comes to guaranteed money because of it having to go into escrow or being paid immediately. Restructuring is just more money that needs to be paid now on top of Chase's guaranteed money, Hendrickson's guaranteed money, Tee's guaranteed money, and now Burrow's restructured bonus.... and we haven't even begun to add anyone to actually improve the team yet. So I don't see the Bengals FO suddenly pulling $300m in liquid cash out of their asses and either spending it immediately or putting it into escrow.
