Am I leaving anything out? Bengals have not drafted well. Teams who draft poorly end up spending more money in FA to get a competitive roster. If you believe Bengals will never draft well, then whether we sign Tee, up the ante to Chase and Trey becomes irrelevant.

I am hoping our new coaches are better with player development.

I am hoping our FO cuts more vets this spring to add additional cap dollars to sign free agents at guard and DL.

As for Tee, I have been on the fence and go back and forth. I think it comes down to his asking price. If he asks for 84 million a year for 4 years ad agrees only 50 million is guaranteed, I like it.

We have no hope of winning in your scenario. I understand you being a skeptic, but if the FO and coaching staffs do not address and fix past decencies, as fans we are doomed to be disappointed. 

I am an optimist and hope the Bengals start doing a lot better drafting.
