But LG needs upgraded even if Cappa rebounds. And Hubbard isn't a great pass rusher even at his best. And even with Rankins, we still need DT help.
If we can get Tee, Chase, Trey, Mike G. and the Burrow restructure done quickly, it will help us attract other guys in FA. It will show we are serious about being a contender.
A ring chaser/vet would have us on their list then. Some maybe be cheap (Calais Campbell at DT), mid-range (Zeitler at RG, Tart at DT), or even high end (Smith at RG).
I am not buying the drop off by Cappa. He was terrible technically which has nothing to do with injury. If it was injury that truly hurt his play
he would of been RELYING on technique to get himself by. Cut Rankins, he was terrible even when he played and is paid way too much. Like I
said, we can bring in about anybody to replace that and be an upgrade and most likely a big time upgrade if we get a good 3-tech in FA or just
bring back BJ Hill who is an upgrade.
Calais Campbell would be nice for a 1 year SB run. I heard Zeit's wife hated Cincy and that is why he wouldn't come back, but could be wrong.
Trey Smith, Will Fries, James Daniels or Tevin Jenkins would be great for a FA add.
