I feel like it's less "hitting" the "good pick" and more identifying the player with the specific skill set that fits how your particular DL likes to operate. Every year it seems we see prospects who had "huge upside", yet they fail to launch with their drafted team. The communication connection between Scouting and Coaching means much more than many want to admit.
