Reds starting pitching staff, is it enough?
#17
I'd go with a 6 man rotation. I think Lowder showed that he's more than ready for MLB experience in his time last year. No reason to waste him in Louisville. I have little confidence in Lodolo when it comes to health. It seems like a matter of time before he's missing time again. It should be Greene-Lodolo-Singer-Martinez-Lowder-Abbott. Some of the order is interchangeable.

If guys need rest or rack up unusual amounts of innings, then get them an unprovable soft-tissue IL stint. Bring up a guy like Ashcraft (if not in the pen), Burns, Miley (if ready by May/June) or even Petty. All of them should be improvements over Spiers.

Manage them. Don't candy-ass them. Get them innings but work in rest. They have a solid volume of quality arms. The best case scenario is that one of the young guys like Lowder, Lodolo, Petty, or Burns really blooms and becomes a true TOR compliment to Greene.
