It's tough for a guy like him to admit that he's limited in his abilities. There's no shame in it, he 100% effort, every down. It's just simply that once there is enough film for savvy OCs to know, playing 3rd down becomes incredibly more difficult than defending a pass on 2nd down. Not to mention all of the late tackles due to attempts to dislodge the ball. 3rd down certainly has been Germaine's nemesis.
